Visiting Dry Creek Landfill

Dry Creek Landfill is centrally located to service southern Oregon and northern California. To help you find your way to the Landfill and the surrounding area, see our Location Map alongside the directions below. Please note that the entrance to the site has a large Dry Creek Landfill sign, as well as a Knife River sign for the property next door.

Safety at the landfill is our number one priority. So before arriving, please read through our Hot Zone safety information and guidelines.

Directions

From I-5 North

  1. Follow I-5 South toward Medford
  2. Take Exit 35 to Blackwell Rd
  3. Turn right at light onto Blackwell Rd
  4. Blackwell Rd. becomes Kirkland Rd., in approximately 5.2 miles
    take right onto Table Rock Rd
  5. In .4 mile take a left onto Antelope Rd
  6. In 1.5 miles turn right onto Agate Rd
  7. In .3 miles turn left on Leigh Way
  8. In .2 miles Leigh Way becomes Lake of the Woods/OR-140
  9. Dry Creek Landfill, 5500 Highway 140, entrance is on the right

From I-5 South

  1. Follow I-5 North toward Medford
  2. Take Exit 30 for OR-62 E toward OR-238 W/N Medford/Crater Lake
  3. Use the right 2 lanes to turn right onto OR-62 E/Crater Lake Highway
  4. Make a slight left onto Rogue Valley Express Way
  5. Turn left onto OR-62 E
  6. Turn right onto Lake of the Woods Highway/OR-140
  7. Dry Creek Landfill, 5500 Highway 140, is on the right

From US-97 North/South

  1. Take Exit 277 to OR-140 West
  2. In .4 miles take right onto OR-140 West
  3. Drive approximately 63 miles
  4. Dry Creek Landfill, 5500 Highway 140, entrance is on the left

From OR-62 North/South

  1. Take Lake of the Woods Highway/OR-140
  2. Go approximately 3 miles
  3. Dry Creek Landfill, 5500 Highway 140, entrance is on the right
